New combo aims to turn inoperable colon cancer liver tumors into surgical candidates

NCT ID NCT07649473

First seen Jun 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug QL1706 to standard chemotherapy and radiation can shrink liver tumors from colon cancer enough to allow surgery. About 30 adults with colon cancer that has spread only to the liver will receive targeted radiation, then a combination of QL1706, chemotherapy, and bevacizumab. The goal is to see if more patients can have their tumors completely removed and stay cancer-free longer.
