New combo therapy aims to outsmart resistant lung cancer
NCT ID NCT07330596
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a new drug called QL1706 (which blocks two immune checkpoints at once) to standard chemotherapy can help people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose disease got worse after initial immunotherapy. About 96 adults aged 18-75 with no EGFR or ALK mutations will be randomly assigned to get either QL1706 plus chemo or chemo alone. The goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth better than chemo by itself.
