New hope for kids with bleeding disorder: drug trial targets platelet boost

NCT ID NCT07455006

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called QL0911 in children aged 1 to 17 with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system destroys platelets, raising bleeding risk. The trial compares QL0911 to a placebo to see if it safely raises platelet counts to safer levels. About 60 children who have not responded to prior treatments will participate.
