Summary
This study tests a drug called pyrotinib as a first treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific change in the HER2 gene. The drug works by blocking certain proteins that help cancer grow. About 18 adults with stage IIIB or IV lung cancer who have not had prior treatment will receive pyrotinib pills, and researchers will measure how well the tumors shrink and how safe the drug is.
