New study explores taking drug breaks for advanced breast cancer

Summary

This study compares taking pyrotinib every day versus taking it on a schedule with breaks for people with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer. About 186 adults whose cancer has spread or cannot be removed by surgery will participate. The goal is to see which approach works better at shrinking tumors and delaying cancer growth while managing side effects.
