New study seeks to define meaningful progress in wrist fracture healing

NCT ID NCT07341594

First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study aims to find the smallest meaningful change in the Push-Off test, which measures how much force a person can push through their arm after a wrist fracture. Researchers will study 109 adults aged 18 to 65 who have had a distal radius fracture treated either with or without surgery. The goal is to help doctors and patients better understand recovery progress using simple tests like range of motion, grip strength, and a wrist pain questionnaire.
