First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested two physical therapy methods—pulsed ultrasound and pulsed shortwave diathermy—in 40 adults with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. All participants wore a wrist splint and did exercises. The goal was to see which treatment better reduced hand symptoms and nerve swelling. Results were measured at 1 and 3 months after treatment.
