Summary
This study checked if new pulse oximeters (devices that clip on a finger to measure oxygen and heart rate) are accurate in healthy adults aged 18 to 39. Researchers lowered oxygen levels in 28 volunteers to see how well the devices performed. The goal was to make sure these devices work correctly for people with different skin tones.
