New radiation approach aims to safely treat Hard-to-Reach lung tumors

Summary

This early-stage study tests a personalized radiation technique called PULSAR for lung cancers located near the center of the chest. The goal is to make treatment safer while still effectively controlling the tumor. About 30 adults with primary or metastatic lung cancer will receive this tailored radiotherapy, and researchers will monitor tumor response and survival.
