NCT ID NCT07388862

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a dental operating microscope during a pulpotomy (removing infected pulp from a tooth) leads to better outcomes than doing the procedure without one. Fifty adults with deep cavities causing tooth nerve pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. Success will be measured by whether the tooth heals, is still healing, or fails over one year.
