First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested an 8-week program combining aerobic exercise, strength training, flexibility, and breathing exercises in 20 adults with axial spondyloarthritis (a type of arthritis affecting the spine and chest). The goal was to see if it could improve how far they could walk in 6 minutes and how well their lungs worked. Results may show whether this approach helps ease breathing difficulties and boost daily function.
