Summary
This study looked at whether a special therapy called EMDR or standard antidepressant pills (SSRIs) help people with PTSD feel better and grow after trauma. About 130 adults with PTSD were randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal was to see which approach leads to more emotional recovery and personal growth over six weeks.
