First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests an iPhone app called Senseye DT that uses artificial intelligence to diagnose PTSD. The app records your face while you do simple tasks on the phone, and the AI looks for signs of PTSD. About 1,900 adults with possible PTSD symptoms will use the app and also take standard mental health interviews to see how accurate the app is. The goal is to make PTSD diagnosis faster and more accessible, especially in primary care settings.
