Summary
This study tested whether a program combining education about schizophrenia with motivational interviewing could help patients learn more about their condition and feel more hopeful. 44 adults with schizophrenia who were not in an acute phase took part. The results showed that the program improved both knowledge and hope compared to usual care alone.
