This study tested a psychoeducation program for adults aged 65 and older. The program aimed to help participants reduce self-critical rumination (repetitive negative thoughts about past mistakes) and improve self-esteem and psychological well-being. 49 older adults took part in the program, which was based on a theory of human development. The study measured changes in thinking patterns and well-being using questionnaires.
