First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether a structured psychodrama program—a type of group therapy using role-play—could improve psychological well-being, empathy, and self-compassion in 40 nursing students. Participants were randomly assigned to either ten weekly psychodrama sessions or their usual routine. Researchers measured changes in emotions, self-esteem, and personality traits before, after, and two months later to see if the intervention had lasting benefits.
