New study tests if PSMA PET scan can forecast prostate cancer outcomes

Summary
This study looks at whether a PSMA PET scan, taken before any treatment, can help predict how prostate cancer will progress in newly diagnosed patients. Researchers will follow 1,000 men for at least 2 years to see if the scan results can forecast cancer growth or spread. The goal is to create a new tool (PSMA-VISION score) to guide treatment decisions.
