New scan duo could spot prostate cancer more accurately
NCT ID NCT07052214
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining two advanced scans (PSMA PET and MRI) is better than standard methods for finding prostate cancer in men with elevated PSA levels. About 204 men will get both scans and a biopsy to confirm results. The goal is to see if the combo scan reduces unnecessary biopsies and improves detection accuracy.
