New scan may spot returning prostate cancer earlier

NCT ID NCT07184970

Summary

This study aims to find out if a newer imaging method called PSMA PET/MRI is better than standard MRI at detecting when prostate cancer returns after HIFU treatment. Researchers will compare both imaging methods in 60 men who have undergone HIFU therapy for prostate cancer. The goal is to determine which scan more accurately identifies cancer recurrence one year after treatment.
