New combo treatment aims to zap acne scars for good
NCT ID NCT07352215
First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to a standard laser treatment helps reduce facial acne scars more than laser alone. Seventy adults aged 18-40 with moderate-to-severe scars will receive three sessions, with half getting the combo. The goal is to see if PRP boosts scar improvement and reduces side effects.
