Could a simple injection speed up hip replacement recovery?

Summary
This study looks at whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the sacroiliac joint after hip replacement surgery can help people recover faster and have less pain. About 60 adults with hip osteoarthritis who are scheduled for hip replacement will take part. Half will get the PRP injection and half will get a placebo (salt water), and their recovery will be tracked for 12 weeks.
