Blood-Based treatment tested for hair regrowth
NCT ID NCT07348315
Summary
This study tested whether injecting a person's own concentrated platelets (platelet-rich plasma or PRP) into the scalp can help treat male pattern hair loss. 201 male participants received 3 to 5 scalp injections over several months. Researchers measured changes in hair growth and checked for any side effects to see if this treatment is safe and effective.
