Summary
This study looked at whether adding platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to standard carpal tunnel release surgery helps people with severe carpal tunnel syndrome recover better. The study planned to enroll 15 adults with severe nerve damage confirmed by tests. Researchers compared surgery alone to surgery plus PRP to see if PRP could reduce symptoms and improve hand function.
