First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a shorter course of proton therapy to the whole pelvis, followed by a high-dose internal radiation boost (brachytherapy), for men with high-risk or unfavorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and does not cause severe side effects. About 30 participants will receive the treatment and be monitored for side effects and quality of life changes.
