Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients with severe dry eye syndrome improve with autologous serum eye drops while others do not. Researchers will analyze the protein makeup of the drops from 68 participants over 6 months. The goal is to identify which proteins are linked to a good response, which could lead to more personalized treatments.
