First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether giving extra protein to underweight children in intensive care could help them leave the hospital sooner. The study enrolled 34 children and focused on whether the approach was practical, not on proving it works. The goal is to use these results to design a larger trial.
