Can a simple shake tame Ozempic's tummy troubles?
NCT ID NCT07096739
Summary
This study tested whether drinking a special high-protein shake could help reduce stomach-related side effects like nausea or discomfort in people taking the medication semaglutide (Ozempic or Wegovy). Twenty adults taking semaglutide drank the shake daily for one week and tracked their symptoms. Researchers compared their symptom scores from before and during the shake week to see if it made a difference.
