First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how different protein bars—made with pea or whey protein, and with or without added polyphenols—affect taste, digestion, metabolism, and immune health in healthy adults. Over 72 participants will eat one bar daily for two months and complete questionnaires and checkups. The goal is to see if plant-based pea protein works as well as animal-based whey protein.
