Summary
This study looks at whether giving more protein (over 1.2 grams per kilogram per day) to critically ill patients with acute kidney injury helps their kidneys recover faster or causes harm. Researchers will review medical records from 344 adults in five Argentine ICUs, comparing those who got standard versus higher protein. The goal is to find the safest and most effective protein dose to guide ICU nutrition.
