First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests if a procedure called prostate artery embolization (PAE), done before radiotherapy, can reduce urinary side effects in men with prostate cancer who have larger prostates or existing urinary issues. About 35 participants will receive PAE before standard radiation, and researchers will track changes in urinary symptoms and side effects over 6 months. The goal is to improve quality of life during cancer treatment.
