Radioactive drug trial aims to control spreading prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT06894511

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a standard hormone therapy to a newer radioactive drug works better than the radioactive drug alone for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to standard hormone treatments. The radioactive drug (lutetium vipivotide tetraxetan) seeks out and delivers radiation directly to prostate cancer cells. Researchers want to see if the combination helps control the cancer's growth and spread for longer.
