New study explores social factors behind prostate cancer care for black immigrant men

Summary

This study aims to understand how migration history and social factors affect the quality of life of Black immigrant men who have had prostate cancer. Researchers will interview 40 men from Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean to learn about their experiences. The goal is to identify social, environmental, and structural challenges they face during cancer care and survivorship.
