New radiation method aims to protect erections in prostate cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a special radiation technique for prostate cancer that uses MRI scans to map and protect the nerves and blood vessels needed for erections. About 200 men will receive either this new approach or standard radiation. The goal is to see if the new method reduces sexual side effects two years after treatment.
