New prostate cancer radiation approach aims to cut side effects

NCT ID NCT06990542

First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to give radiation for prostate cancer. Instead of treating the whole prostate, doctors will focus the radiation only on the tumor. The goal is to see if this reduces side effects like bladder and bowel problems. The study involves 150 men with intermediate- or high-risk prostate cancer who are getting radiation therapy.
