Summary
This study tested a shorter course of radiation therapy (16 sessions instead of the usual 40+) for men with early-stage prostate cancer. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and effective at controlling the cancer while reducing side effects. 91 men participated, and researchers tracked urinary, bowel, and sexual side effects as well as cancer recurrence.
