Tracking Long-Term safety of protective balloon for prostate cancer radiation
NCT ID NCT05354440
Summary
This study follows prostate cancer patients who previously received a temporary balloon implant to protect healthy tissue during radiation treatment. Researchers are tracking these patients long-term to see if the protective balloon helps reduce lasting bowel and urinary side effects and improves quality of life. The study is observing 80 patients who already completed their initial treatment in a prior clinical trial.
