Fish oil and drug combo may slow prostate cancer in Low-Risk men

This study looks at whether taking marine omega-3 fatty acids (found in fish oil) and a drug called dutasteride can slow or prevent prostate cancer from getting worse in men with low-risk prostate cancer. The 120 participants are already on active surveillance, meaning they are closely monitored instead of receiving immediate treatment. Researchers will measure changes in fatty acid levels and gene activity in prostate tissue to see if these interventions help keep the cancer from progressing.
