New scan spots prostate cancer with high accuracy

Summary
This study tested a new PET imaging agent called [18F]CTT1057 to see how well it can find prostate cancer tumors. 195 high-risk patients who were scheduled for surgery received the scan, and the results were compared to tissue samples taken during surgery. The goal was to see if the scan could accurately detect cancer in the prostate and nearby lymph nodes.
