NCT ID NCT03334500

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new radioactive tracer called 18F-FluorThanatrace to see how active a protein called PARP-1 is in prostate cancer tumors. About 30 men with prostate cancer will get a PET/CT scan before surgery. The goal is to see if the scan can find cancer better, not to treat it. Results will be compared with tissue samples after surgery.
