MRI scans could help men avoid unnecessary prostate biopsies
NCT ID NCT07332832
Summary
This study is testing whether doctors can use repeated MRI scans to better decide when men with suspicious prostate findings actually need a biopsy. Researchers will follow 1,000 men to see if watching how MRI images change over time can safely reduce the number of unnecessary biopsies. The goal is to improve the accuracy of prostate cancer diagnosis while minimizing invasive procedures.
