First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether giving a higher dose of radiation (up to 81 Gy) to men with high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread could help keep the cancer from coming back. About 250 men took part, and all also received hormone therapy. Researchers tracked side effects and cancer control for up to 9 years after treatment.
