NCT ID NCT03507608
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This early-phase study looked at whether giving a short, strong dose of flutamide (a hormone blocker) can create DNA breaks in prostate cancer cells in men already receiving standard hormone therapy and brachytherapy. The goal was to see if this approach could make cancer cells more sensitive to treatment. Only 25 men with high-grade prostate cancer took part.
