New biopsy method aims to cut unnecessary prostate cancer diagnoses

Summary
This study tests a new biopsy approach for men with suspected prostate cancer. Instead of taking many random samples, doctors will focus on the MRI-visible lesion and the area right around it. The goal is to find dangerous cancers while reducing the detection of slow-growing cancers that don't need treatment. 456 men will be enrolled to see if this method works as well as the standard approach.
