First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looks at whether physiotherapists have better body awareness (proprioception) and hand skills than other healthcare workers like doctors, nurses, and midwives. About 36 professionals with at least one year of experience will have their shoulder, elbow, and wrist position sense tested, along with a pegboard task to measure manual dexterity. The goal is to see if the hands-on training physiotherapists receive gives them an edge in these abilities.
