First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether teenagers with severe scoliosis (a curved spine) have trouble sensing where their body is in space, a skill called proprioception. Researchers will use MRI scans and tests to compare brain and muscle differences between 60 teens with scoliosis and healthy controls. The goal is to understand the root causes of the condition, not to test a treatment.
