First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at 46 adults having elective surgery for unruptured brain aneurysms. Researchers compared two anesthesia methods—propofol alone versus propofol plus ketamine—to see how they affected a measure of brain pressure (optic nerve sheath diameter). The goal was to gather knowledge on which technique might be safer for the brain during these procedures.
