First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compares two common anesthesia drugs, propofol and isoflurane, to see which one better lowers blood pressure on purpose during sinus surgery. Lower blood pressure can reduce bleeding and give surgeons a clearer view. The trial will include 136 adults having endoscopic sinus surgery and will measure how well each drug controls blood pressure and improves the surgical field.
