NCT ID NCT06126731
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a combination of antibiotics to the standard drug enzalutamide can safely improve treatment for men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). About 39 participants will receive two weeks of amoxicillin and metronidazole, then two weeks of ciprofloxacin and vancomycin, alongside enzalutamide. The goal is to see if changing gut bacteria can help shrink tumors or lower PSA levels.
