Heart monitor uncovers silent risks before valve procedure
NCT ID NCT03561805
First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether wearing a continuous heart monitor for at least a week before a TAVI procedure can detect hidden irregular heartbeats in people with severe aortic stenosis. About 106 participants will use the monitor to find these silent arrhythmias, which may lead to treatment changes before the valve replacement. The goal is to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital stays after the procedure.
