First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at 56 people who had surgery for early-stage colon cancer to see if the number and type of immune cells in their tumors could predict whether the cancer would come back. Researchers measured different immune cells in both blood samples and tumor tissue. The goal was to find better ways to identify patients who might need extra treatment after surgery.
